The Heiðarvatn valley
Heiðarvatn in Mýrdalur is at a height of 72 m above sea level and its size is 1.9 m2 in area. The greatest depth is 30 meters. Vatnsá falls from the lake, which is in the Kerlingardalsá water system.
How beautiful is in Heiðardalnum, mountains and highlands south of the lake, all wrapped grass, mosses and sometimes snow and ice.
