Oskar, he spoke great English, he loved the story of the Second World War.
Oskar was also fascinating to fly on a paraglider, he wanted to know the rules of physics, wing operation and types of winds and clouds. A great man and a friend.

Þora, my Icelandic grandmother, managed to make one lopapeysa (icelandic sweater) in just two days. She had her favorite designs and sorted their kinds. What a new winter I had from her a new sweater, woolen socks.

Gerda
Horður, a wonderful and very warm person, full of good and understanding.
He always puts chocolate mousse in my pocket. ;)
Svandis adored beautifully and fashionably dressed, she loved reading and knew many Icelandic stories
from medieval times.
Tryggvi, when he was in a good mood, he sang songs in the old Icelandic and recited poems. He knew many quotes from Edda, which always amazed us.
Stella, a long-time art teacher at the school in Hafnarfjordur. Very graceful lady, but also with a great sense of humor. She always dreamed about becoming Miss Iceland. In my heart she WAS.
Lally, fascinated by the world, company and coloring.
